KYLE
WILSON - Bass
Kyle started as a guitar player in 1988, determined to become the next
Slash. After realizing that his friend Brian Adams would become Slash
much sooner than he would, Kyle switched to bass where he could spend
more time movin' and groovin' than concentratin'.
Kyle developed the appetite for playing live while still in high school,
practicing in various garages and living rooms with Brian and the foul-mouthed
neighbor kid named Jay Warren. Kyle later gained many years of stage experience
in the early and mid 1990's playing in TUNNABRIX with Brian, Jay, and
Walt Crihfield, and later in GIRTH again with Brian and Jay.
After taking a few years off to devote time to his family, Kyle has recently
rejoined the band and has more energy and enthusiasm than ever. Not afraid
to admit that he is a huge fan of 80's hair rock, Kyle's musical tastes
range from Dokken to Anthrax to Incubus. His major influences on the bass
guitar are Rachel Bolan of Skid Row and Eddie Jackson of Queensrÿche.
